ICC Library error when starting or installing Notes Client
After entering her password, the user would get the following error: "ICC library could not be found or initialization failed. Please check your configuration.". When I ran a repair install, I received an error that the icc directory could not be created because it already existed and was in use by another process. There was no icc directory in the Notes folder. What I found was an ICC file with no extention. I deleted the file and the install continued until it hit the same error for the xmlschemas directory. I found an xmlschemas file in the Notes folder and deleted it and the install successfully completed. The problem was caused after ManageSoft had triggered an install and since her Notes client was already at v8.0.2, she cancelled the install. That may have corrupted the folder names. I would guess the same problem could happen on the Domino install.
